Roachdale, Dec 13 -- Lula M. Hendricks, well known in this vicinity died at her home in Indianapolis Tuesday morning at 7:25. Death came after illness of nearly 2 months and was caused by carcinoma of the liver. The deceased was born in Hendricks County IN March 2, 1878, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Morphew. On Aug 30, 1894, she was married to Archie Hendricks. She was a member of the Regular Baptist Church and was a resident of Hendricks co for many years. Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Miss Fairy Hendricks at home; 3 sisters: Mrs. Sarah Miller, Mrs. Kitty Hoosier of Indianapolis and Mrs. Christian Eggers of Burlington and one brother, JE Morphew of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at the North Salem Church Thursday afternoon at one o'clock with the Rev. Ray Britton of Barnard in charge. Burial will be in the North Salem cemetery. - typed by kbz
